Iolanthe tells the story of a fairy who commits the
awful sin of falling in love with a mortal man. Banished from
Fairyland, she watches over her half-mortal son as he falls in love with
the ward of the Lord Chancellor of England. To win his love and
overcome the opposition of the House of Peers, Strephon will need the
help of the Queen of Fairyland.
